1031 Exchange / DST - I grew up in the Hotel business learning all the great things about real estate...and of course, all the stuff no one likes - tenants, toilets, trash, and taxes! I watched my father and grandfather build wealth through real estate over numerous decades, but not have many options for how to liquidate that real estate, avoid tax, and have some solution to provide income in their retirements. This led me down the road to Investments and ultimately 1031 Exchange solutions for folks either wanting to get out of real estate and avoid tax or need backup property solutions for when they're executing 1031 exchanges.
