After chasing shiny objects, I decided the typical military approach to investing: buy a property at each duty location, fix it up and either rent or sell when Uncle Sam decides we need to move somewhere else. I've had the opportunity to network with other military investors, property managers, and mentors over the years. While I worked full time, my investing was lethargical and I always thought I was missing something in my professional life, and worked in sales, marketing, and other various roles when I left the military in 2019. I now work full time as an Acquisition Agent for New Western where I get to deliver a steady stream of opportunities to investors who have joined our marketplace.
