What's going on in my life: I'm a real estate agent in Martin, St. Lucie and Palm Beach County, FL. I flip about 2 properties a year that I find from my marketing efforts as a realtor. As the market comes down over the next 1-2 years, I'm shifting my focus from being a realtor to a syndicator. I'm currently raising capital for commercial multifamily properties in the South East US. The markets I'm focussed on for syndication are Orlando, FL, Atlanta, GA and Columbia, SC. A little about me: I used to live in Northwest Indiana, in the Chicago region. I went to college at Purdue University for Nuclear Engineering. Once I got my degree, I moved down to Stuart, FL to work with Nextera Energy (or Florida Power and Light). During my time at Nextera I stubbled upon real estate. After listening to over 100+ podcasts on BP I knew I wanted to be a passive real estate investor, so I bought a duplex and did the house hacking thing. I quit my job and jumped in to real estate with two feet. I started wholesaling properties for about a year, before I got in trouble with the counties for putting out over 200 bandit signs a week (advice: stay away from bandit signs). After that I had to pull back and serve tables for about a year, before re-establishing myself a real estate agent. I've found a lot of success as a realtor through things I learned on Bigger Pockets. Naturally, I focus on listing probate properties, and I get my leads through direct mail campaigns I got married to my wife, Autumn, in 2017 and we have 3 dogs. I ride my bike and play tennis for fun. The beach is right around the corner, so that's also a plus. Message me and tell me a bit about yourself.
