Chris Dawson

Chris, Orenda's managing broker, is a licensed real estate broker with over 15 years of experience specializing in investment portfolios. He employs his expertise in property analysis, project management and trend analysis to help investors in Kansas City and around the globe acquire desirable commercial properties. Chris is a born salesman. In his most previous real estate management position, Chris grew the company from $1.5 million to $30 million in gross sales in less than two years. Under his guidance, the company attained top-five sales status in the Kansas City area for three years in a row. In an unusual twist for the real estate industry, Chris also has excelled in careers of a highly technical nature. "My edge derives from my extensive background in information technology and scientific research, including a stint in which I managed a team of five scientists who developed new procedures for major pharmaceutical companies," Chris says. "My technical expertise and understanding of complex business systems help me identify needs, provide solutions, and develop strategies to achieve on-target results." A self-proclaimed "Learning Junkie", Chris holds a dozen or so industry related certifications in addition to his Masters in Information Technology and his undergraduate degree in Biology. He is currently pursuing his CCIM (Certified Commercial Investment Member) and CPM (Certified Property Manager) designations and he just recently obtained his Class "A" General Contractor's License.
