I bought my first house when I was 22 in 2009. That home was a foreclosure in the California Bay Area. I lived in it while I fixed it up, then sold it to buy my next primary residence and my first rental. After that I refinanced and bought a duplex in a neighboring town. In 2017 I sold the rentals I had in ca and used 1031 to purchase three 4-plexes in Idaho. I am currently employed full time as a lineman with a CA utility and also have my real estate license. My plan is to continue investing buying and hold properties in order to make enough in the next couple years to become FI.
