My wife and I are just getting into real estate. I am in the military and am currently stationed in Virginia Beach. Our goal with REI is to become financially independent so we can spend time with our future children and really experience life together. To us this means being location and time independent. We don't necessarily plan to retire early, but we want to be independent of work. In other words, we want to have the option to retire early. This will free us up to really live life and pursue things we're passionate about. We are interested in BRRRR and long term rentals. Markets we're looking into/ are interested in are: Virginia Beach, VA Suffolk, VA Chesapeake, VA Columbus, Ohio
