I come from a long line of real estate investors, grew up around real estate investing, and it is definitely in my blood. My grandfather was a millionaire real estate investor, my father has done very well for himself, and my cousin is a millionaire commercial real estate investor. I have been studying real estate investing for many years, beginning with the late night infomercials of Mr. Carlton Sheets, and moving on from there. Presently, I am obsessed with BP podcasts, webinars, and blogs. I literally check out new material almost every single day!!! I am also an avid horse person, and do own my own horse and so that is what I do in my free time. My horse is also my huge motivator for wanting to really get into Real Estate so that I can buy my own small farm and bring him home. I also want to spend more time riding and travelling with him. In the short term (within the next year, I will have a multi family which I can house hack, and then continue growing from there, rapidly. I'm looking to acquire in the Mukwonago/East Troy/Waterford, WI areas. 2-4 units, as turnkey as possible (for now) and in the $100-150k or less price range. I am very easy to work with, I enjoy meeting new people, and my friends and colleagues say that I'm extremely likable, wise, and that I have a great work ethic. Please don't be shy about connecting. The time is absolutely now, Experience: I am new to actually doing investing, but not new to the concepts and ideas. I began studying in the late 90's/early 00's and have kept on studying many methods since. I firmly believe that I think like a seasoned real estate investor, and soon, my experience is going to match. I am ready, ready, ready, and in the near future, I am going to be one of the people who is featured on a Bigger Pockets Podcast! Real Estate Goals: -Own my first multi-family property by the end of 2017 -Be financially free, and quit my full time job by the end of 2018 or sooner (emphasis on the "sooner, lol) -Have a six figure income/net worth by end of 2018 or sooner -Have a seven figure income/net worth by end of 2024 or sooner -Own an Equine Motorcoach and travel the country with my horses, buying real estate, building my real estate empire in all of the hottest markets by the end of 2024 or sooner Currently Seeking: I am ready to do my first deal, and am most interested in following in my family's footsteps with commercial properties, in the form of 8+ unit apartment buildings/complexes in the East Troy/Waterford/Burlington/Union Grove areas. All of those areas I am quite familiar with, are very desirable with great rent rates, low crime rates, and awesome schools (especially Waterford and East Troy.) 8+ unit apartment buildings/complexes are definitely where I believe the big money is at. However, if something smaller comes along, and the numbers work, I am all ears. I do need and want either partner(s), owner financing, or another form of very low/no money down financing for the first deals I do, and anticipate that I will want to continue on that path of property acquisition, and then expand to other methods as appropriate\needed. My greatest interest is the buying and holding of large commercial apartment buildings\complexes, but I do absolutely want to experience other aspects of investing, such as flipping, as well.
