I’m a real estate investor, former North Carolina real estate agent and flipper, and the owner of JLK Cabinetry — JLKCabinetry.com. I’ve spent roughly 20 years in the cabinet industry, designing and installing kitchens, so I understand cabinetry from both sides of the equation: what makes a kitchen look and function right, and what makes sense financially on an investment property. Today, JLK Cabinetry provides RTA kitchen and bath cabinetry for investors, builders, contractors, flippers, landlords, and homeowners. One of the biggest advantages of working with us is that we keep our overhead intentionally low. That allows us to price our cabinets very aggressively while still providing the kind of personal service that can be difficult to get from a large online RTA company. You’re also not just ordering boxes from a website. I can personally help with kitchen layouts, cabinet selection, measurements, problem areas, fillers, panels, appliance placement, and the little details that can make or break a cabinet order. My goal is to help customers get the kitchen right the first time and work with them step-by-step through the process. Having been involved in real estate myself, I understand that investors care about quality, appearance, lead time, service, and—most importantly—keeping the numbers of the project where they need to be.
