Karl Holmlund

I started investing in small multi-family in 2018, doing about one deal a year. I've had success in the classic BRRRR strategy and have done deals in small town Colorado, Michigan, and now Missouri. I have a great team in southwest Missouri and am looking to expand there. I look for B- or C class property that needs significant repair work and good property management to create a positive culture at my properties. I am not interested in major markets like Kansas City. Rather I like to invest in smaller towns outside of those major markets. I currently own property about an hour southwest of Kansas City, and I plan to expand within a 3-4 hour radius of there in similar towns and multi-family apartments. My full time job is I'm head of sales in the Baby Gear industry, and I love it! Formally worked in tech sales, and have loved the transition to retail. I am married and have 2 under 2. I enjoy a lot of hobbies, spending time with a lot of close family and friends, and I'm a man of faith. I care most about making a positive impact in the world and living a life aligned with my purpose, which is to uplift as many people as I can!
