I build SignalLedge, software for private lenders that checks whether the state filing, the tax ID, the sanctions screen, the bank account and the borrower's documents describe the same company. Before this I spent six years at Fidelity Investments, most recently as a Director of Digital Product, and seventeen years in financial services, marketing and technology overall. I am also an investor. I've invested in several private lending deals over the last couple of years and bought my first home in 2021 through an off-market deal I found in a Facebook group, no agents involved, and did the cosmetic renovation myself. I am here mostly to learn how lenders actually work, as I continue to build something that can actually be useful.
