I am a full-time high school teacher and have always had a passion for real estate. I attended a guru seminar a few years back that really resonated with me. Fortunately, I happened upon BP and instead of investing $35K into my financial education with the guru, I spent a much more palpable amount and joined BP. Information overload is an understatement, but I'm devouring as much as I can. Experienced a few years of analysis-paralysis, but happened into a short term vacation rental that is doing well. Actively seeking first multi-family to BRRRR with my 20-somethings so they can house-hack (and fly the coop...for good). Experience: Purchased/sold three primary residences Managed and sold (w/o realtor) one quad and one triplex mixed-use building for my dad over a period of two years (quite the learning experience) Spend countless hours on Zillow and browsing county tax property Real Estate Goals: Looking to add a BRRRRnB STR, partner on a house-hack with my kids, and retire 7 yrs earlier from my W2. Currently Seeking: MFs in Orange County, NY and Rochester, NY and a vacation STR in a beach town.
