I have studied and invested in real estate off and on since 1990. I became interested in remodeling when my parents turned a barn into a home when I was in Junior High. My husband also bought and sold properties throughout his adult life. We are now investing in distressed properties and rehabbing them. We have flipped some but are focusing on buying and holding for now. As of April 2018 we have 21 doors. We want at least 125. Our goal is to have passive income for our retirement.
