Physician assistant in urgent care medicine. I accumulated capital at my job and in the stock market to buy a residence in Santa Barbara. When I realized all I could afford was the worst 2 bedroom house in town, and then spend nearly all my income on paying the mortgage, I knew that was not the way to a bright future. Experience: I got my start by completely remodeling 2 units owned by my mother and taking over the property management for her. This gave me the confidence to start investing in real estate. Santa Barbara is outrageously expensive, which drove me to the decision to invest out of state. I started investing in Kansas City at the end of 2013 and currently own 5 SFR's.
