My Story: I've been renting an apartment in Washington D.C. for a few years working for a large architecture firm. I was turned on to Biggerpockets in 2020 and had been learning as much as I can. I house-hacked a duplex in Baltimore in 2021 and spent a year DIY renovating one unit and hiring contractors for the second unit. It ended being a success and was able to do a partial BRRRR.
