My wife and I have lived in Gainesville, VA for the past 7 years. We love the area and will some day be investing locally, but this is an expensive market! We purchased our first property (a duplex) in 2017, sold our first flip in 2018 (accepted an offer after 8 days on the market!) and sold our 2nd flip in the spring of 2019. We are re-focusing on buy-and-holds and therefore have ramped-up our acquisitions. As of today we own 9 small multi-family properties. We are looking to add 2 additional properties in 2020. This community rocks!
