Starting a rental portfolio that I can force appreciate and will also cash flow long term. I'm focused on the metro Atlanta area (OTP) but looking at a few other spot that turned up in some data analysis. If you're in these markets, or wanting to get in them, I'm happy to connect. My day job is as a research scientist in tech (PhD and all) but I've always been interested in real estate. I bought my first house as a sophomore in college and which was taken down to the studs. Since then I've bought, rehabbed and sold many properties. So I know the ins and outs of the overall transaction process as well as the construction side. But now it is time to build a portfolio of long term, cash flowing & appreciating, rentals. My goal is to BRRRR or do very slow flips - either way leaving the property better off than I found it, and creating value along the way.
