Kevin Andrews

Hi. My name is Kevin Andrews. I love watching WWE wrestling and listening to music of all kinds but my favorites are hard rock/metal. I live with my wife and her 3 children (my stepchildren). And we have a pretty kitty. I currently own one apartment building. A triple decker in Rhode Island (RI). After 10 years of owning this property, I am just about ready to buy more properties and get serious about investing. I bought the RI property from my parents in 2005 and honestly have been making a lot of mistakes since owning it. I do not have much (if any) cash flow month to month on the property as I bought it in 2005 at the height of the market, and the value went down big time. However, I would trade nothing for the opportunity. While my cash flow has not been great, I have learned SO MUCH about fixing things on my own, mostly from trial and error and Youtube. But it has been a great learning experience. I'm thinking of purchasing single family homes, in a good investment area. I feel like houses in my area are too expensive right now to make money on them, but maybe with the knowledge I gain here I can figure a way to make it work. I am not very knowledgeable on short sales, REO, or foreclosures, but am willing and hoping to learn more.
