Investor, Property Manager, Contractor We started off house hacking in 2017, before we knew what house hacking was. I just knew buying a house that we could add an apartment to would make paying for a house much easier. Fast forward - we currently have 10 units. 6 of them being acquired since January 2021 - 5 STRs and a duplex LTR. We also renovated a vintage Airstream that will be set up as an STR once I find the ideal location. My wife is a registered nurse and I am a landscape contractor with 15 years experience working on high end/luxury projects on Long Island, NY. We are now looking to expand into STR property management to help others be successful in this space.
