My twin sister Lauren and I have recently invested a lot of time and money into a real estate education program purchased through a seminar we attended. I have been interested in real estate since watching an infomercial years ago about making hundreds of thousands working from home using none of your own money etc.; meanwhile I was 22 years old living at home with my parents and working as a waitress just to make payments on my student loans (or toward what I like to call a useless $60,000 piece of paper called a bachelors in science degree with a concentration in criminal justice!!) My sister and I have both worked and managed employees in the healthcare field in different capacities; I also gained invaluable experience while working for Bank of America Card Services and Customer Solutions in 2008 and 2009. Lauren is currently a Family Practice Physician Assistant (10/2007-Present) and I was a Family Practice Office Manager until recently (6/2009 - 07/2014). The healthcare field is physically mentally and emotionally draining. In family practice there are few if any rewarding moments (especially as a practice manager in these difficult and ever changing times!) I want to be able to help people. I want to have the ability to help my parents comfortably retire while they are still young enough to enjoy it. I want to have the financial freedom to move back to my home town to be closer to my Parents, Brother and Sister-in-Law and my wonderful niece Kenzi, along with the rest of my extended family.
