I am brand new to real estate investing and looking for my first opportunity to buy. I live in the OKC market and I am an Oil & Gas Landman by profession. I am starting REI because I am tired of money being taken away from me by no fault of my own. O&G is very cyclical and can be polarizing, lay offs are inevitable and I am looking to build my financial independence through Real Estate in order to provide myself and my family the life we want and to grow my money for retirement. At this time I am primarily focused on finding opportunies and growing my network to meet and work with creative lenders, great contractors, Rock Star Agents and others who invest in and/or work with Real Estate Investors. I am still in the learning and analysis phase but quickly moving and highly movtivated to make my first offer. I am very open to suggestions, critiques, tips and general information. My focus right now is SFR/MFH in the OKC Metro and surrounding areas that I can BRRRR.
