I'm a Real Estate Broker in Oregon. I've been successfully selling homes since 1999. I have owned several rental properties in the past and I'm looking to build a portfolio of rentals to retire on. I'm happy to share my experience as a Realtor and as an investor. I am an experienced Baritone Soloist, I play bass in a small jazz combo and I'm a motivational speaker. I also rock Karaoke. My rendition of "stayin' alive" really gets audiences excited. Finally, in the fall of 2015 I survived the removal of a plum sized brain tumor from my frontal lobe. This has given me an entirely new perspective. Be excellent to each other. That's what we're here for. Experience: I have been a real estate broker since 1999. I have sold a lot of houses during this time. I have also owned as many as 12 rental units at one time. A divorce and a lousy rental market stripped me of many of them. I believe wholeheartedly in the benefits of being a real estate owner and wish to build a portfolio that will eventually allow me to retire. Real Estate Goals: Typically, when I see a bunch of people doing one thing I feel compelled to do the other. There is a bubble coming. I can feel it. I want to make money a different way where I don’t have to own the property this time. This time when the market crashes I don’t want to be the one left holding mortgages on property I don’t want that can’t rent. I want to learn to lease and sublease via AirBnB. Currently Seeking: I’m in search of Landlords willing to lease property to me with the understanding that I will be operating a professional AirBnB out of it. The property will be treated respectfully and professionally cleaned after each tenant. I will pay more than market rent for the right property.
