About myself

Hi everyone, my name is Nate. Currently, I have a full-time job as Sr. IT Project Manager and just completed my MBA from UC Irvine out in Southern California. Go Anteaters Class of 2016! I'm keen on the idea of creating passive streams of income through real-estate via value-add based investment strategies (i.e. BRRRR, house hacking). Since being introduced to BP's podcast back in 2014, I've been absolutely hooked and am curious to learn how to turn this interest in real-estate into a lucrative business. Looking forward to learning from the community, participating in thread discussions, and hopefully forming relationships with some of you! Experience: Still new, but in the market to purchase value-add, multi-family properties (2-20 units) if the cashflow numbers make sense - looking locally and out-of-state (South-side Chicago, IL). Also looking to invest as a limited partner in an MF syndication deal. Absorbing as much content as possible from people, books, workshops, podcasts...and of course the BP Community! Real Estate Goals: My Why: I view “Financial Freedom" as having the freedom of time and choice to pursue goals related to experiences, growth, leadership, and charitable giving.
