Purchased first investment property July 2018 (duplex) in Berlin, New Jersey. Currently rent both units out and am looking to continue to expand my portfolio of properties. Always looking for tips and tricks and even the best way to go about handling taxes for investment properties. I want to network with others who are interested in possibly partnering up on bigger deals and build wealth together. Ultimate goal right now is to accumulate at least $10,000 a month in rental cashflow, to allow me retire from the corp world and put all my effort into real estate. Real Estate Goals: Use the equity in my current duplex to purchase a vacation home that I can also use as a short term rental. My long term goal is to be purchasing big apt complexes and be able to partner up on deals all over the country. I would like to find a mentor or partner up on a few deals to learn the ropes and fix the loops in my knowledge base. Currently Seeking: Multi-family properties in any market that is safe to live in, has no major issues, build no later than 1950, and can generate positive cash flow. Single family homes in North Myrtle Beach or South Carolina area that can be used as a short term rental.
