Investment Experience: Owned a few investment properties years ago - eventually unloaded them. I'm back in the market with a clearer investment strategy, a little more maturity (I hope), and the patience to work a plan for the next few decades. Goals: Out of state investing - initially small to mid-size properties - looking for buy and hold/cash flow and a strong ROI. Now I am beginning to learn about syndication and, Lord willing, continue in this path over the SFR strategy. Additionally, if you were to meet me for coffee, over time, you'd learn that I married up and absolutely love my wife, and that I love the adventure of being a dad to my 3 kiddos. You'd learn I enjoy outdoor physical activities, craft brew, bourbon/scotch, a good cigar - all over a good conversation with good people. I get excited about things that matter...at least things that matter to me! Haha, which tend to be entrepreneurial topics as well as those touching the intellectual/cultural/spiritual/philosophical side of life. I feel fortunate to have had the opportunities in life (including the challenges) because I'm a firm believer that the measure of a person isn't their success or pocketbook, but the legacy we leave behind, what we do and who we become with what we have. My hope and aim in the BiggerPockets community is to learn, begin/build friendships, invest and hopefully leave people and places a little better than we all found it.
