Kristin Hayles

I spent several years working as a geophysicist in the oil and gas industry before stepping away for personal and family reasons. These days, I’m a teacher and a licensed real estate agent, and I’m diving deep into real estate investing — both to grow my own portfolio and to become a valuable resource for other investors. I’m especially interested in learning how to find and analyze great deals. My goal is to purchase my first investment property in January 2026. I’m drawn to the BRRRR method and am using the time between now and then to sharpen my analysis skills and build a solid foundation. Ultimately, I see real estate as my path to retirement — but I also want to generate enough cash flow to eventually transition out of teaching and into real estate full-time.
