My wife Elizabeth and I have been married since 2001 and currently have 6 children. With our oldest being a girl God saw it fit to bless us with 5 little boys in a row. I started my working career as a youth pastor, then a UPS driver for 10 years, and now I've taken the leap into being a full time entrepreneur. My family and I reside in Central Ohio and enjoy hunting, fishing, and rooting for our Ohio State Buckeyes every football season. Experience: At 25 years old my wife and I purchased our first duplex fixer upper based off a passing comment from our pastor at the time. We had no idea the journey that purchase would take us on. With one side rented and the other vacant we put a few pennies together for a down payment and moved into the other side. We very quickly realized the benefits of what we had done. Every month this lady, of whom we didn't know, would leave an envelope with money in it paying us to live there. It was awesome! So awesome that we did that for 9 years until we finally grew our family too big for this rental to contain us. Several years later I read in a book that you could actually be what he called, "financially free." This was a new concept to me but the possibilities rocked my employee minded world. Very soon after reading those words my wife and I got to work adding as many multi family units as we felt like we could afford. All because of that passing comment from my pastor and a little book I picked up at the library. Over the course of these 9 years we have, with God's help and an amazing team, grown a portfolio that realized the dreams of freedom we thought would never come. Now I spend my time the way that I choose. Working on our farm, coaching track and field, and pouring into my family. And my latest venture that I am having an absolute blast with is as a full-time real estate agent that specializes in helping investors and flippers evaluate and purchase properties in and around the Lancaster, Ohio market.
