Kyle Leygraaf

Professionally, I work in real estate private equity for a large firm. We invest capital across direct JV and preferred equity strategies in large commercial real estate investments across the United States. Deals range in size from $30-150MM+. My role involves the sourcing, underwriting, closing, and asset management of the investments. In past roles, I was a commercial real estate lender at a major bank, and worked in a position acquiring multibillion dollar commercial real estate debt portfolios from other financial institutions. I have extensive experience in underwriting large real estate investments (cash flow modeling, market studies, buy/sell/hold decisioning, etc.). Personally, I am interested in building a portfolio of my own rental properties. I purchased my first home in 2019 which is a house hack (duplex & eventual BRRRR). My goal is to have a portfolio of rental properties (small multifamily at first, but eventually larger multifamily and commercial). I am also interested in flipping if it makes more sense for a particular deal.
