Wendy Black

Born in Chicago, I briefly moved to Phoenix when I was young, fell in love with its warm weather and wide open spaces, and vowed to return. A few years after moving to Phoenix in 1973, my husband, Ronald, and I started sinking our toes into the sand in Laguna Beach, CA, and since then, we've had one foot in Arizona and the other in California. Both places are home. I hold a B.A. in Political Science and Speech & Theater from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Master of Mass Communication from the Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University.
