I am a 36 year old, single, physician in the Chicago area. Over the years I have become more interested in learning more about building wealth and establishing true financial freedom. I've always been interested in the idea of acquiring real estate but so much of my focus has been on the practice of medicine that I've been pretty isolated from the financial world so my knowledge is essentially nil at this point. I've listened to a few of the Bigger Pockets podcasts and the format is informative and entertaining. I figured this would be a great place to start my journey. I would like to establish a solid foundation of understanding and working knowledge about real estate and also be able to dialogue with like minded individuals of all experience levels. Cheers! -LP
