I'm a young 70 with an independent streak that suits me very well for self-employment. I was a real estate appraiser for 25 years and a full-time realtor for 15 before that. Married for 45 years, 2 grown kids, 3 granddaughters. I was looking for retirement income, and now I have it. I didn't before, and I want to help other real estate professionals to NOT make the biggest mistake I did...not investing in the very industry in which I made my living! It's fact that 75% of the wealthy 1% that we keep hearing about have attained their success through business ownership and real estate investing. My program offers both. I majored in getting through college with a minor in beer. Wanted to coach, but didn't have the patience (or the interest) to teach. This might tell you why: Major in Speech, Minor in Political Science. Reason: didn't have to take any math or foreign language. I graduated in 4 years and never once had to write a term paper. Wasted youth, but a ton of fun. Now I'm semi-retired and I want to help others position themselves to do the same. We are in a new global economy that is eroding our middle-class, so we have to prepare for that and protect ourselves economically.
