A while back I went looking for permit history on a property and found every city publishes it completely differently. Some haven't updated their data in years. Some never mark permits closed at all. So I ended up building citypermitpeek.com, which pulls permit records by address across 33 US cities. Happy to answer permit questions , it's a stranger subject than it looks.
