I bring my past experience as an investor, flipper, builder, short term rental operator, landlord, and wholesaler to my work as a Real Estate Agent in DC, Virginia, and Maryland. I’m particularly passionate about value add renovations, navigating zoning rules for new construction, house hacking, land deals, and creative strategies for acquiring amazing off-market deals. I began my real estate career in 2015 through buying and selling tax-foreclosed land. Over the course of three years, I purchased over 45 vacant lots by myself and in two partnerships groups. To date, I’ve sold 40 lots, netting a 700% return for myself and investors. I have experience in the short-term rental market, personally owning and operating a 5-bedroom Airbnb rental property from 2016 - 2019. As the designer, investor, and GC of two contemporary single-family homes, I managed subcontractors, navigated client expectations, and adapted to design challenges, to create profitable new build homes, breaking neighborhood comps and netting $300,000 profit. My work as a land acquisition and sales specialist for Joy Design + Build and other investor clients informs my acquisition and negotiation strategy. I have generated more than 75 off-market land leads, and assisted in closing 7 $1,000,000+ new build deals. Recently I helped out together a 3 lot subdivision for new homes in the 3 million dollar price point. I've recently put together three deals for large value add renovations in Burleith, Chevy Chase, and Navy Yard.
