I completed my MBA in 2016 and hit the crossroads that led to "W2 Job" or "Build My Portfolio". I decided on the latter. Over the past year I have taken my portfolio from 7 to 13 units. Based on my current metrics, I am two units shy of complete financial independence, though I don't plan to stop investing once I hit that point as those 15 units would only provide my minimum required cash flow for financial independence.
