Raised one of my grandsons (He's 21 this year) I love decorating, boating, camping and traveling to anywhere with a warm beach and enjoy snorkeling, and socializing and BBQ's.Taking that snorkeling joy to the next level this year and learning to scuba dive. I'm into politics, but have learned it might be better to keep that to myself most of the time! I've been interested in real estate investing my entire adult life! So how did I let the years slip by without realizing my dreams? Because they were dreams not functionalized into goals! Experience: I have an old school RE background. I was a top producing agent in the 80's. My target market was first time and first move-up buyers and sellers. It meant I had to have a bird dog mentality and sniff out those deals they could afford. Stayed in the market until early 90's. House-hacked 3 houses over a 5 year period but couldn't seem to get past that. Rehabbed a house I thought I would stay in forever-ish in the early 2000 and then moved in 2010 to the Pacific NW. Real Estate Goals: I love rehabbing houses! I love searching for the deals. I'm taking that love and turning it into a business with my grandson! Rehab two, buy a rental then Repeat. That's the plan! Currently Seeking: Good, solid advice from vet investors. The truth of what it's going to take ME to do this considering my personal situation. What do I need? How is it really done?
