I wanted to get involved in real estate investing for years. Decades even! There were always reasons not to, but I finally took the plunge in 2008, buying a small rental. I figured it would be my daughter's college fund. Well, I got the investing bug, and that is how it all began. I live and invest in the Rochester NY (and sometimes out of state) area and split my time between my family--wonderful wife and two beautiful daughters, and my job and real estate. I also get stressed pretty easily. Are you like that? Tenant problems, rehab problems, paperwork, too much to do, etc. My wife says I sweat the small stuff. Experience: I always feel like a newbie, but I have flipped/sold over 20 properties and currently hold about 15. I have a great team around me--contractors, assistant, lawyer, realtors, and self-manage my properties, with help. Real Estate Goals: I currently buy and hold and flip. I'd like to buy a small complex this year, 2017. While I feel like I'm in the position to do this full time, I'm still holding down a job--for now. Currently Seeking: Deals! New Opportunities! Private lending--aren't we all?--but I have a proven track record.
