I am currently a Business Analyst for a technology company looking to get out of the rat race. I was laid off in November '08 and decided that counting on someone else wasn't for me any longer. My wife and I decided to move forward on starting the real estate investment company that we have been talking about for the last five years. It was now or never, we thought. Since then, we've taken some classes, read some books, and purchased our first triplex in Pitcairn, PA. My short-term goal - quit my job.
