I am new to real estate investing and am trying to learn as much as possible. I was a special education teacher for 6 years and then decided to take the leap and took an assistant property management job. My girlfriend and I just purchased our first investment property; househacking a SFH with an ADU in Los Angeles. I also just purchased a turnkey property in Indianapolis. I'm planning to househack a 4plex by the end of 2021. A little more about myself, I grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA. I have a degree in Economics and I love to travel. In 2017-2018, my girlfriend and I took an 11-month backpacking trip across 17 different countries. Traveling is our why for real estate investing. We'd love to be able to hit the road again while knowing our investment properties are creating enough income to support our travels.
