Mark Johnson

Hello! I am looking to learn more about investing in rental properties and help others where I can. Through my learning, my goal is to build passive income through long-term, residential rentals. I’m initially focusing on the greater Sacramento area but expect to invest out of state as time goes on. Just after college I bought my first fixer and most recently designed and built a long-term, custom spec home. I have worked as a commercial real estate agent with CBRE; a carpenter, designer, and general contractor for ten years; analyst in a DHS Fusion Center for ten years; and am currently serving in the Army National Guard, with a few deployments to places I wouldn’t necessarily want to be an OOS investor! I am a Project Management Professional (PMP), a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, and a licensed FAA sUAS Pilot. My degrees are in Geographic Information Systems and Technology and Business Administration with an emphasis in Financial Services/Real Estate. I love investing time with my amazing wife and our four wonderful daughters. I am also active in our local church and volunteer with our Sheriff’s Search and Rescue Team.
