Marty Reardon

hi my name is marty, i live in central north carolina. i currently work as an hvac technician and am in an attempt to getting involved in real estate. i have always had an interests but never the time or money to get started. i am looking for rehab units but i am having a hard time finding the great deals that you read about. right now i have some time to research, study, scan neighborhoods, tax lein and forclosure sales but still haven't found properties with good equity and marketability. i have found some buys but they are in such terrible shape and in poor communities and townships that they are a big risk. i am very interested in improving peoples standard of living by upgrading the property. the income for retirement is primary goal but i am also interested in helping people by doing something i actually enjoy doing. any advice will be greatly appreciated,
