I always like to tell people that, asked to describe my career, I'd say that 'Mom' is my biggest title. I am lucky enough to have three awesome littles: Elle, Charlee, & Cassius, and they are the reason the sun rises, as far as I'm concerned. My 'other' career in real estate began with the 2008 Stock Market Crash. Needing a new avenue to invest my capital, I began to invest in turn-key properties in the Southeast. Never one to do things halfway, I dove right in and got the absolute best education from the Mastery Coaches at Fortune Builders. I opened up my Self-Directed IRA with ETC and began to invest in residential and commercial properties as well as lending money privately. Before long, I was co-founding my very own turn-key company in Birmingham, AL - Spartan Invest. As Spartan's VP of Sales, I am proud to say that Spartan has been included on the INC 5000 list for the past FIVE YEARS IN A ROW. Our leadership continues to make headlines and win awards and our company continues to grow year after year. Just this year (2019), I also co-founded an amazing new venture, Ambo Invest LLC, which specializes in streamlining and facilitating the entire REI process for members of the diplomatic community (including U.S. ambassadors and all Foreign Service personnel). There is a unique set of challenges faced by investors serving their country abroad, in and out of uniform, and we've developed a simple, full-service product to help them get the investment returns they didn't know they were missing out on. I am so excited to be able to help this dedicated group of Americans and can't wait to see where Ambo takes us. My personal mantra (from the great Zig Ziglar) is "You can have everything in life you want, if you just help enough people get what they want!" The success of Spartan means that I get to do just that: help others build passive income portfolios with quality rentals in the Birmingham market (and now in Huntsville and Tuscaloosa!). Helping others get what they want truly has brought me the life I always dreamed of. I remember very clearly how daunting REI was when I first started, so I do what I can to help other folks learn the ropes and gain confidence in their ability to invest successfully.
