Since 2005, I have personally maintained a modest portfolio of income assets and managed rehabilitation projects in three principal markets, namely, Northern Cook County Illinois, Washtenaw and Ingham Counties in Mid-Michigan, as well as Kalamazoo and Kent Counties in Western-Michigan. My background originated in building material sales, during which I quickly converted my knowledge and network with contractors into rehab projects in mid-Michigan. Despite a departure from the real estate industry during the years of the bubble correction (i.e. 2009-2012), I have since doubled-down in my efforts and focus, creating not only a portfolio for myself, but now I also act as a licensed agent under a Keller Williams broker, where I specialize in aiding investors, both local and absent, domestic and international, in locating, evaluating, and purchasing assets in Michigan markets (and soon to be a licensed agent in Illinois). When contractors or property management are needed, I also have personally vetted many of the firms in the markets I operate, and can thus provide great referrals. With over a decade of experience with residential and commercial (mainly mixed-use and multi-family, not retail) real estate in the Great Lakes Region, I am confident in the relative stability of property values, and the uniquely high ROI potential of assets in multiple markets.
