I chose technology as my first career, working as a defense contractor all around northern Virginia and Maryland. But as Brandon Turner puts it, I'm tired of working so others can achieve their dreams. It's my turn! 4 things I like about real estate: 1. There's a lot to learn, but it's not hard to learn. 2. The numbers. Get 'em right, and the rest gets much easier. 3. The independence it can bring. Would love to escape the cubicle. 4. It's tangible! Is that weird? I've been writing code too long... I have a fantastic wife and two beautiful daughters. My wife is also a small business entrepreneur, having recently started a successful event planning company. Her 9-5 wasn't her calling, so she switched to what was. Her confidence in herself has been a huge motivator for me to take action.
