I'm a new real estate investor since the beginning of 2019 and was able to get my 1st rental property after 3 months. I'm working in a simple general labor warehouse job as my day job. in 2019 I started listening to the RE podcast and in just about 10 months I listened to about 360 episodes of the BP podcast! I feel like I know a lot about investing in real estate, but I don't have a lot of actual experience. I also managed for 2 years 2 small Airbnb hostels for an out of state investor/friend. So I got some experience being a landlord. At the end of 2019, I opened my own Airbnb in Houston, the cash flow is awesome so I'm trying to open another location now. I recently moved to Tacoma Wa, but will still mostly invest in Hoston because I'm familiar with the market and the price point is more friendly for beginners.
