Mel Hignell

I started out as an Airbnb host in San Francisco in 2011. In 2014, after purchasing two more homes in Portland, Oregon, and having been featured on Airbnb for my rental design, I opened my design firm, White Spider, dedicated specifically to economical, guest-specific rental design. Within the year it became apparent there was a need for management, and we broadened the scope of the company. We now manage hundreds of homes, have over a hundred employees and are expanding daily.
