Mel is a former social worker turned real estate mogul, top broker, and financial activist. When her family faced a financial crisis—aging parents with no savings—she set out to learn everything about building wealth. Within five years, she achieved six-figure financial freedom using seller financing and other creative strategies. Her TEDx talk on the power of seller financing earned TED’s prestigious Editor’s Pick, and now she’s on a mission to help others achieve financial independence. As a coach, top broker, and soon-to-be author of Bank on Your Neighbor (Summer 2025), Mel teaches investors and realtors how to redirect wealth from Wall Street back into their communities.
