Experience: None as an investor at this time, purchased our personal residence. Real Estate Goals: My interest lies in buy and hold real estate as well as flipping properties. We have not yet begun to invest but have created a plan to move in that direction. Firstly I would like to state, like may of the current investors, I have read and have been inspired by Robert Kiyosakis' book, "Rich Dad Poor Dad." So the plan begins with our education. I have purchased and have begun reading, "The Book On Rental Property Investing," by Brandon Turner, as well as, "The Book on Flipping Properties," by J. Scott. My wife, Lisa, has recently attained her real estate license (anyone needing a real estate agent in Melbourne, FL, drop me a line) that will allow us to be immersed in the business and understand the rules and regulations of real estate. This will additionally help us save for a down payment for our first investment property. We are putting the plan into action to eventually attain financial independence.
