I have been in the construction industry for 20+ years, and I've also held a NC general contractor's license for most of that time. In 2013, I quit my job at the time and partnered up with my dad full time, flipping 5 properties and picking up one off market rental property between 2013 and 2017. In 2017, I started a construction/contracting company and built a new construction spec home which sold in early 2018. Currently (late 2018 to present) I have partnered with family members and purchased a home to fix and flip, and I will split off about 2 acres to subdivide and build 3-4 new homes. Real Estate Goals: Ultimately, to be able to support myself financially using only real estate investing. At this time I am also doing contract construction/remodeling in addition to doing our own rehabs to give myself everyday income. A goal I want/need to accomplish is to learn to talk to people that I'm dealing with (buyers, sellers, even fellow investors) more confidently. I can be a little introverted, so it's a work in progress.
