I plan to continue working full time for the foreseeable future as I build a buy and hold rental portfolio on the side. My wife and I want to make life choices based on our desires and interests. We don't like the idea of being stuck in a job to maintain our lifestyle. We want to create our own opportunity and be able to live on our own terms. We are seeking to generate enough passive income to eventually give up the corporate position and allow us to travel, spend time with family and volunteer more with our church through community outreach events and mission opportunities. In the meantime, we want to open a youth center and concert venue in our hometown, ideally to be funded by our rental portfolio so that we can continue to build the business while we work our "normal" jobs.
