My curiosity in real estate investment began a few years ago when I stayed in my first Airbnb. The owner lived alone in her house. She converted her empty three bedrooms and attic into Airbnb rooms. She told me she originally started using Airbnb as a way to help with the mortgage, but it grew so fast. Very quickly, she was paying her mortgage bill solely with the Airbnb income while pocketing the leftover cash. That whole house hacking concept blew my mind. I was hooked ever since. My dream is financial freedom via real estate. My goal is to buy and hold 10 houses over the next 10 years.
