I currently work in the technology space and have been for the past 16+ years. That was the start of my second career after 20 years of military service. I bought and sold one property years ago, but didn't keep going. Didn't find the time with a young and growing family. But always had real estate investment in the back of my mind. I'm also a previously licensed Realtor (part-time ) who left that behind after the last market downturn. I'm looking to get into residential properties; i.e. flips, wholesale, rentals of single and multi-family units, then move from there to commercial investments in a couple of years. I'm just starting my business plan and will file for my LLC in the next couple of weeks. I don't need every detail of a BP, but do want to make sure I have I know what my OPEX will be for the first year. before doing so. I can do this. I just need to take action and the time is now.
